WORLD MISSION OFFERING

WORLD MISSION OFFERING

“Each of you must decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. ‘For God loves a person who gives cheerfully.’”
— 2 Corinthians 9:7 (NLT)
When we talk about the World Missions Offering, we’re not talking about what one person can do alone, but about what we can do together as the body of Christ. Not everyone has the same income, the same resources, or the same capacity to give. But what God asks of us is not equal giving—it is equal sacrifice.

Jesus pointed this out when He watched the poor widow put two small coins in the temple treasury (Mark 12:41–44). To others, it looked small, but to God, it was great—because she gave out of her sacrifice.

The mission of God is too big for one person, but together, through equal sacrifice, we can fuel missionaries, plant churches, and send the Gospel to places where people have never heard the name of Jesus.

Every dollar you give this Sunday represents an eternal investment in souls. It’s not about the size of the gift, but the size of the obedience and the willingness to sacrifice.

ACTION STEPS
  • Pray about what God would have you give.
  • Don’t compare your gift to anyone else’s—compare it to your willingness to obey.
  • Remember: when each of us sacrifices, the mission is funded, and the Great Commission advances.

Let’s step out in faith this Sunday and give our best to the World Missions Offering—because the Gospel is worth the sacrifice!
