The Birth of Victory Church

Pastor Jon Cannon, along with his wife Debbie and their two children, Tyler and Kristen, left the beautiful mountains of North Carolina in March 1999 to plant a Free Will Baptist Church in the Midwest – specifically in Mascoutah, Illinois.

From the very beginning it was evident that “God’s favor” was resting upon this ministry. Pastor Cannon organized Victory Church in August 2001, just 2 ½ years after it’s birth.

Since then Victory Church has continued to grow. After being unable to build on the church property in Mascoutah, Pastor Cannon led the congregation to sell the property and relocate to O’Fallon, Illinois. In January 2008, Victory Church purchased 20.8 acres of land just north of Route 50 on Scott Troy Road in O’Fallon. This would become the “future home” for Victory.

resize6We then completed phase one of our construction, and our first service was held in the new building on Sunday, June 3, 2012!  After several years of setting up and tearing down each week in school gymnasiums, we are praising the Lord for our new facility!

We would love for you to be our guest this Sunday at Victory Church.

Come and grow with us!
